Privacy Policy

Your network is built on trust — and so is the way we handle your information. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and the control you have over it.

Last updated: July 1, 2026

01Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Lead Network (“Lead Network,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit our website, apply to a club, or use the member platform to pass referrals and track business. We’ve written it in plain language because trust is the foundation of a referral network.

By using Lead Network, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

02Information we collect

We collect information in a few different ways:

  • Information you give us — your name, email, phone number, business name, industry, and profile details when you apply to a club or create an account.
  • Referral and networking activity — the referrals you give and receive, one-to-one meetings you log, and Thank You For Closed Business (TYFCB) amounts you report.
  • Payment information — billing details processed securely by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Automatically collected data — device, browser, and usage information gathered through cookies and similar technologies.

03How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate your account and match you with a local club.
  • Facilitate referrals, one-to-ones, and business tracking between members.
  • Process membership dues and send billing notices.
  • Send service updates, meeting reminders, and — with your consent — occasional product news.
  • Measure club health, improve the platform, and prevent fraud or abuse.

04How we share information

Lead Network is a network, so some information is meant to be shared. We are careful about the rest.

  • With your club — members can see your profile, trade, and referral activity so they can pass you business.
  • With service providers — vendors who help us run the platform (hosting, payments, email) under strict confidentiality obligations.
  • For legal reasons — when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our members.

We do not sell your personal information to third-party advertisers.

05Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly if you disable them.

06Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, and reporting obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

07Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You can:

  • Update most details directly from your account settings.
  • Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link.
  • Request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us at the address below.

08How we protect your data

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and regular reviews to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to safeguard your data and will notify you of any breach as required by law.

09Children’s privacy

Lead Network is a platform for business professionals and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we’ll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you. Questions? Email privacy@businessnetwork.com.
